Job Description: The trainer will be responsible for preparing students in foundation courses to helpthem succeed in various entrance exams (CET, CAT, CUET, CLAT, etc.) and competitive exams (Banking,MPSC, etc.). The role involves teaching advanced English, general knowledge, numerical ability, andreasoning, while also offering training in essential job-related skills and career guidance.Responsibilities: Deliver engaging lessons in core subjects: English, General Knowledge, Numerical Ability, andReasoning, with a focus on foundational understanding and exam strategies. Provide students with practical, real-world applications of these subjects, helping them understandhow the content relates to their future career paths. Offer one-on-one career guidance to students, helping them understand their strengths and aligntheir skills with career goals. Deliver job-specific training to equip students with basic employability skills (e.g., communication,time management, and problem-solving). Ensure students understand key workplace etiquettes and professionalism. Regularly update course content to stay relevant with the latest examination patterns and skillrequirements, ensuring alignment with industry standards. Use a mix of teaching tools such as presentations (PPT), videos, models, and physical materials tomake lessons more interactive and effective. Encourage class participation and discussions to foster a two-way learning environment, wherestudents feel comfortable asking questions. Develop assignments, mock exams, and quizzes to test student progress in both online and offlineformats. Provide timely feedback and remedial support to students who are struggling with specific conceptsor skills. Track individual student progress through consistent assessments and personal feedback sessions. Identify and address gaps in understanding, providing additional resources or coaching to ensureimprovement. Keep detailed records of student attendance, assessment scores, and progress reports. Assist in community engagement activities by providing clear and accurate information about theprogram to prospective students and their families. Coordinate with other trainers, the Centre Manager, and staff to ensure smooth operation oftraining batches. Assist in organizing and facilitating student orientation, counseling sessions, and additionalworkshops as needed.Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (e.g., BA in English, BSW/MSW). At least 2 years of experience in training, with 1 year focused on entrance/competitive examsand career guidance. Experience in curriculum development and prior experience in the social sector is preferred.Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel to other centers within Mumbai and the Head Office as needed.Competencies & Skills: Excellent communication and mentoring skills, capable of explaining complex concepts in asimple, relatable way. Proficiency in English and at least one other language. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor young students. Ability to adapt lessons for different student learning levels and incorporate constructivefeedback. Proactive attitude, willing to learn and integrate new teaching methods.Key Result Areas: Timely completion of training batches. Achieving desired student assessment results. Minimizing dropout rates. Regularly reviewing and updating the curriculum.
