About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator with over 6 years of hands-on experience in database management, optimization, and architecture. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, maintaining, and securing our data systems to ensure peak performance and scalability.Key Responsibilities:Strong hand-on database administrator experience on IBM DB2.Design, implement, and maintain robust database systems, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to front-end users.Monitor database performance and implement changes for optimization and tuning.Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and views.Perform regular database maintenance, backup, and recovery processes.Collaborate with development teams to define database design and architecture for new applications.Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with industry best practices.Conduct troubleshooting and provide solutions for database-related issues.Develop and maintain technical documentation related to database configurations, standards, and procedures.Participate in database capacity planning, scaling, and data migration activities.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and database technologies.Required Skills & Qualifications:Strong hand-on database administrator experience on IBM DB2.Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum 6+ years of professional experience as a Database Developer or Administrator.Strong proficiency in database systemsExpertise in writing advanced SQL queries, indexing, and performance tuning.Experience in data modeling and database schema design.Solid understanding of backup, recovery, security, and data integrity concepts.Familiarity with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL) is a plus.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilitie
