Capex Projects Consultant – India (6-Month Contract extendable) Location: India (On-site) Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension) Commitment: Full-time Level: Senior Consultant / Manager (Bain-equivalent)About the RoleWe are seeking a Capex Projects Consultant with strong experience in end-to-end Capital Expenditure (Capex) project execution. This role involves supporting our client's operations in India, working closely with the Customer’s COO and under the guidance of the Bain leadership team.You will be directly involved in driving Capex initiatives aimed at accelerating productivity and resolving operational bottlenecks, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage end-to-end Capex project lifecycle – from ideation to execution.Support the development of business cases, including ROI and cost-benefit analysis.Oversee vendor scouting, quotation comparison/negotiation, and project feasibility assessment.Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders (including COO-level) for alignment and decision-making.Create and manage project dashboards and provide regular progress reports.Support the establishment of governance mechanisms to ensure timely and quality project delivery.Identify and proactively address risks or execution barriers.Ideal Candidate ProfileMust Have:7–8 years of relevant industry experience, or 4–5 years in a consulting/project role with a focus on Capex.Strong track record in Capex project management, execution, and stakeholder engagement.Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience working with C-suite stakeholders.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to create compelling business cases and dashboards.Consulting experience (Bain-level equivalent)Nice to Have:Experience in the FMCG sector, preferably within the Food industry.Prior work on large-scale productivity and operations-focused initiatives.
