Team Lead - KYCThe Team Lead will oversee daily operations within their control, serving as the KYC SME point of contact for team membersRoles and Responsibilities include:Maintaining a thorough understanding of Global KYC policies and procedures.The individual has responsibility for all cases within their scope of influence.Review all periodic refresh emails from respective team members to relevant stakeholders.In order to obtain the information required, communicate with salespeople, relationship managers, and customers.Follow up with internal partners to ensure timely action on cases that need their input.Assure timely delivery of high quality, error-free work while minimizing reliance on onshore SMEs.Be responsible for the overall quality of the team's work and ensure deadlines are metKey SkillMust have excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be willing to work in rotating shifts and on weekends depending on business requirementsMinimum 5 years of experience within international banking industry KYC (Remediation, Onboarding or Periodic Review).Minimum 3 years of experience leading a team and managing performance (both underperforming and high performing)Possess strong knowledge of various institutional client structures i.e Private / public entities, Funds, BanksDetailed understanding of negative media, PEP and sanctions exposure and hits negation methodology.Must have handled various screening tools such as Factiva, RDC, World check, Lexis Nexis,etc.Accurate and detail oriented with an analytical mind and the ability to detect, articulate, and effectively escalate and resolve issues.Driven to improve efficiency and controls.
