This role demands a visionary leader who can optimize existing operations, identify new business opportunities, and manage high-performing teams across various functions.Roles & Responsibility:Financial Management:Responsible for P&L, effective budget management, cost control & resource optimizationImprove profitability and identify new revenue streams for Phthalic Anhydride business.Strategic Opportunities:Develop and implement long-term business strategies to achieve sustainable growth, profitability, and market leadership.Lead the organization’s overall strategy and ensure alignment with market trends, customer needs, and industry regulations.Evaluate market dynamics and make data-driven decisions to optimize product and market positioning.Provide thorough Market Analysis & Competitor Intelligence to identify market opportunities, trends, needs, and growth areas.Provide market intelligence for continued market knowledge of target markets.ProcurementManage procurement of Raw Materials as well as strategies for effective sourcing and managing risks.Establish and maintain close lines of communication with assigned production plants, and vendors for procurement of materials in the desired quantities and qualityIdentify new raw material sources where appropriate, negotiate pricing/costs, in line with purchasing procedures and empanel.Application Development:Oversee research and development (R&D) initiatives for the launch of new products and improvement of existing product lines.Lead product diversification strategies to meet evolving customer demands and market conditions.Sales and Marketing:Lead the sales, marketing, and business development teams to increase market share and expand customer base.Cultivate relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and industry influencers to ensure long-term partnerships.Identify new market opportunities, geographical expansion, and emerging product lines.People Management:Provide guidance and leadership to the team for effective support for new business opportunities to speed closureManage sales and business development teams for performance.Coach and mentor team for their career growth
