Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting & Accounting:Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process with accuracy and timeliness.Lead the preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in line with Ind AS and Companies Act, 2013.Design and maintain a scalable accounting and MIS infrastructure to support business growth.Ensure timely and accurate preparation of management reports and dashboards.Taxation:Ensure compliance with Direct and Indirect Tax regulations including Income Tax, TDS, and GST.Manage tax assessments, audits, and liaise with tax consultants and regulatory authorities.Keep the leadership informed of material tax and litigation exposures.Compliance & Controls:Establish and monitor effective internal control frameworks including ICFR.Manage internal audit function and ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.Proactively identify financial risks and put in place mitigation mechanisms.Financial Operations:Drive budgeting, variance analysis, cost control, and working capital optimization.Oversee treasury and cash flow management in alignment with business needs.Ensure financial compliance across multiple business channels—D2C, marketplace, and offline retail.Audit & Regulatory:Lead statutory audit closure and maintain a strong relationship with external auditors.Ensure full compliance with financial laws and timely reporting to regulatory authorities.Leadership & Team Management:Key Parameter is to drive automation with CFO.Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team. Delegate work for execution & reporting.Foster a culture of ownership, integrity, and continuous improvement.
