Key Responsibilities:Plan and supervise drilling, sampling, and laboratory testing of soils.Analyze soil and rock mechanics data to determine engineering properties.Prepare detailed geotechnical reports and foundation recommendations.Assist in the design of retaining structures, deep and shallow foundations, ground improvement systems, and slope stabilization.Design foundations for offshore structures such as:Jack-up rigs.Fixed platforms (jacket structures).Floating structures (FPSOs, semi-submersibles).stability of seabed slopes.Support and supervise pile driving and installation operations.Provide technical support during construction and resolve geotechnical issues on-site.Use geotechnical software for analysis and design (e.g., PLAXIS, GEO5, STAAD Foundation).Maintain accurate project documentation and coordinate with contractors and clients.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.8+ years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering and site investigation.Proficiency in geotechnical software and CAD tools.Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation design, and ground behavior.Preferred Qualifications:M.Tech / M.E in Geotechnical Engineering.Certification in geotechnical investigation or construction supervision.Familiarity with local geology and site-specific conditions.
