The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the latest industry trends and content management systems.Key Responsibilities:Designing and implementing new features and functionality on WordPress platforms.Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture to ensure high performance and availability.Ensuring responsive design and optimizing sites for maximum speed and scalability.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and refine specifications and requirements.Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to apply them to operations and activities.Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of experience in WordPress development.Proficient in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.Experience building user interfaces and prototypes from wireframes and designs.Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with e-commerce platforms and integrating payment gateways.Understanding of SEO best practices.Experience with website performance optimization.Familiarity with modern build pipelines and tools.Work Environment: This is a remote position requiring availability during night shift hours (8:30 PM IST to 6:30 AM IST) to align with our global team.
