Job TitleTeam Lead – Outbound Calling & Inside SalesDepartment / FunctionSales Operations ▸ Contact‑Centre / Inside SalesRole PurposeHandle a pod of outbound‑calling & inside‑sales agents to achieve revenue, conversion and retention targets while ensuring exceptional customer experience and compliance with process, quality and data‑privacy standards.Core Responsibilities:Own daily/weekly revenue, conversion‑rate and pipeline targets for the team.Run start‑of‑day huddles, mid‑shift health checks and end‑of‑day debriefs; allocate leads’ via dialer or CRM queues based on agent skill and lead quality.Conduct side‑by‑side call monitoring, post‑call debriefs and weekly 1‑on‑1s.Deliver monthly skill‑building sessions (objection handling, consultative selling, cross‑selling, up‑selling).Monitor at least 5 calls/agent/week against QA scorecards; ensure GDPR/PCI‑DSS or equivalent data‑privacy adherence.Escalate red‑flags (mis‑selling, customer dissatisfaction) within 1 hour.Collaborate with Marketing on campaign briefs, scripting and segmentation.Generate insights from call dispositions and funnel leak points; propose A/B tests on pitch, offer or dial‑time windows.Maintain real‑time dashboards (connect rate, conversion, AHT, revenue/agent/hour).Provide daily flash and weekly trend reports to management, highlighting wins, blockers, staffing need and forecast accuracy.Interface with Customer Success for smooth hand‑offs of closed deals.Foster an inclusive, high‑energy culture that lives company values (e.g., “Customer First”).Required Experience & Skills3–5 yrs total, including ≥ 1 yr leading an outbound / inside‑sales or customer‑care team.B2C/B2B telesales.Basic Excel/Sheets (VLOOKUP, pivot).Data‑driven decision‑making, strong coaching mindset, persuasive communication, conflict management, ability to thrive in target‑driven environment.Bachelor’s preferred; certifications in sales leadership or call‑center management advantageous.
