Role Overview We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as a Business Transformation & Process Excellence Lead to work in a truly global environment to lead the insourcing and capability building initiatives of our Bangalore Shared Services centre reporting to General Manager, Volcafe India and Chief Operating Officer, Volcafe. Key Accountabilities In-sourcing & Capability BuildingLead the insourcing of key business activities in close partnership with Subject Matter Experts or Operations Leads, introducing strategic capabilities at the managerial level to improve organizational agility, reduce costs, and drive operational excellenceChampion the development of new processes, systems, and frameworks to increase value, enhance productivity, and empower teams to execute with greater effectivenessIn alignment with the management team, expand in-scope activities for Bangalore by identifying high-impact business processes for transition and insourcingDesign and deploy service placement strategies to support a global delivery model aligned with capability center growthChange Management & Project DeliveryLead the development and execution of change management strategies to ensure seamless implementation of transformation initiatives, minimizing disruption and maximizing adoption across teamsOversee the delivery of high-quality, on-time projects within budget, ensuring stakeholder expectations are met and outcomes are sustained long-termIntroduce transformation playbooks and structured delivery models to accelerate regional implementation and ensure standardizationBusiness Process Transformation LeadershipSpearhead end-to-end business process transformation initiatives to streamline operations, optimize performance, and deliver measurable efficiency across departmentsDrive continuous improvement through the application of best-in-class methodologies (RPA, Lead and 6 Sigma) ensuring processes are aligned with both strategic objectives and operational need (automate manual processes, reduce turnaround time, and improve process reliability)Identify and analyse inefficiencies in current processes, propose and implement improvement solutions, and monitor the resultsDevelop and maintain global service catalogues, including process taxonomies, to standardize service delivery across geographiesStrategic Collaboration & Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate effectively with local teams in Bangalore and remote leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into actionable process improvement plansWork closely with functional owners to identify opportunities for transformation, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals and fostering cross-departmental collaborationOrganize and lead global leadership visits or transformation showcases to cross-sell Bangalore’s capabilities and align to strategic roadmaps (1YP/3YP)Conduct vendor benchmarking and market assessments to evaluate external capabilities and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions for transformationLeadership & ReportingProvide strategic leadership, mentorship, and guidance to cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performanceRegularly report progress, challenges, and outcomes to the General Manager, ensuring transparency, alignment, and consistent communication across all levels of the organizationDevelop transformation dashboards, KPIs, and performance reports to monitor initiative health, savings realization, and strategic alignmentPartner with General Manager and Function leads to define shared transformation goals, track outcomes, and ensure sustained business valueSkills and Experience 10 to 15 years of experience in business process transformation, process reengineering, or a related field, preferably in a commodities, FMCG, financial services with a centre of excellence/shared service environmentProven experience leading strategic initiatives and driving change at a managerial levelStrong understanding of process optimization, continuous improvement methodologies, and industry best practices (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Agile)Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive results across local and remote teamsExcellent project management and change management capabilities, with a track record of delivering complex projectsStrong collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional teams, both locally and remotelyExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levelsBachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related fieldComfort with data analytics and dashboarding tools to support performance measurement and business reportingAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining focus on strategic goalsWe recognise that talent comes in many forms, and we value potential just as much as experience.
