He or she will proactively manage the system, troubleshoot issues, and develop strategies to enhance our Apple device management. In some instances, the successful candidate will collaborate with IT teams across our Los Angeles headquarters and Asia/Europe offices.Responsibilities and DutiesJAMF Pro Administration: Own the configuration, management, and ongoing development of our JAMF Pro instance to meet evolvingorganizational needs.Policy and Security: Develop, implement, and maintain security profiles and policies for Apple devices. LeverageJAMF Pro to ensure configurations adhere to securitystandards and compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS benchmarks).Scripting: Utilize scriptinglanguages (Bash, Python,or similar) to automate tasks,create custom workflows, and extend JAMF Pro's capabilities.Patch Management: Manage system and application patch deployment schedules, ensuring devices are secure and up-to-date.Inventory and AssetManagement: Maintain detaileddevice records, track software licenses, and manage device lifecycles within JAMF.Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor JAMF Pro and the Apple devicefleet, identify potential issues, and troubleshoot/resolve technical problems.Collaboration and Documentation: Partnerwith IT teams (systems, networking, security) to integrate JAMF Pro into the broader IT infrastructure. Create and maintain clear documentation on processes and configurations.QualificationsRequired:8+ years of in-depthexperience administering JAMF Pro in a medium-to-large enterprise environment.Proven expertise in macOS and iOS/iPadOS, with an understanding of their underlying technologies.Experience with scriptinglanguages (Bash, Python,or similar) for process automation within JAMF.Strong knowledgeof security conceptsand experience in enforcing securityprofiles for Apple devices.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Highly Desired:JAMF certifications (e.g., Certified JAMF Associate, Certified JAMF Expert)Experience in Active Directory/LDAP integration with JAMF.Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, etc.)Familiarity with a ticketing system for issue tracking
