The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing important client accounts in AAK India. These accounts make up the highest percentage of company income, and the KAM has to build and maintain a strong relationship with the client. KAM will be the lead point of contact for all key client matters, anticipate the client’s needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for the client are met, and help the client succeed. The KAM will also bring in new business from existing clients or contacts and will develop new relationships with potential clients. The KAM will be responsible for enhancing our share of wallet and thus increasing our market share. He/ She will ensure the complete management of customer driven projects.Roles and Responsibilities:1.Develop and manage key customer accounts, understand customer needs through regular customer visits to ensure customer value is achieved2.Grow and develop AAK’s customer base to increase business opportunity3. Put together a plan to leverage existing and future business opportunities4. Establishing and overseeing internal budgets with the company and external budgets with the client5.Negotiating contracts with key clients and meeting established deadlines for the fulfillment of each client's long-term goals.6.Periodically resolve key client issues and complaints7.Collaborating with relevant internal cross functional teams to ensure key client’s needs are met.8.Ensure accuracy of forecast by using key account metrics.9.Monitor and report market information to present to key stakeholders10.Participate in tender negotiations with key clients11.Ensure Full Compliance of the EHS Requirement in the area under control and provide appropriate EHS reports
