Centre HeadThe Centre Head is responsible for the overall management and operation of the Early Learning Centre, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This role involves leading staff, engaging with families, and implementing high-quality early childhood education programs that meet the developmental needs of children.Oversee daily operations of the centre, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.Lead, mentor, and support teaching and administrative staff.Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.Design and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that encourages exploration and learning.Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary adjustments.Monitor and assess children's progress and development.Build strong relationships with families, encouraging their involvement in the centre.Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns.Manage budgets, resources, and supplies effectively.Maintain accurate records of children's enrollment, attendance, and assessments.Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children and staff.Oversee health and safety protocols, including emergency procedures.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.10 years of experience in early childhood education, with 5 years in a leadership role preferred.Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and the community.
