In this newly created remote role, you’ll take ownership of tracking and resolving customs and delivery issues for international and UK overnight shipments, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers. This is a great opportunity to become a key part of our high-performance ops team, initially supporting behind-the-scenes processes with a view to becoming fully integrated in front-line operations.Responsibilities - What You’ll Be Doing:Monitor live international & overnight shipments and identify customs delays using DHL & DPD tracking system or live email notifications.Communicate with DHL & DPD to obtain updates and resolve clearance issues.Maintain accurate, real-time records of all customs-related delays.Provide clear communication to the team so it can be relayed to customers.Flag recurring challenges and assist analysing the cause.Stay up-to-date with international customs regulations and advise the team of any major changes.Assist with research on any documents required for import to a third country.Create templates for most-used customs paperwork (intended use statement, TSCA, customs declaration…)SkillsExperience in international logistics or customs-related rolesFamiliarity with international shipping processes and customs procedures.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Knowledge of Incoterms and basic international trade compliance (desirable).Comfortable with phone calls with international teams.Preferred:Industry Knowledge – Experience in 3PL, fulfilment, or supply chain strategy is advantageous.Experience in customer supportStakeholder Engagement – Strong communication skills to influence internal teams and external courier partners.Data-Driven Decision Making – Familiarity with BI tools or reporting dashboards to track courier performance metrics.Experience & Seniority Level:Seniority: Mid to Senior LevelYears of Experience: Likely 5+ years in logistics, fulfilment, or last-mile delivery, with at least 2-3 years in a role involving direct courier management and negotiation.Ideal Backgrounds:Courier or last-mile logistics operations3PL (Third-Party Logistics) or fulfilment experienceTransport and distribution managementSupply chain strategy with a focus on cost optimisation and service improvementLeadership Expectation: While this role is individual contributor-focused, it requires a strategic mindset, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive company-wide cost efficiencies.Work ScheduleAs the client is UK-based, you will be required to work in UK daytime:Monday to Friday9 am - 5:30 pm GMT (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM IST)Pay & Benefits - What you’ll get in return:Annual CTC: 7 - 9 lakh per yearDevice: An annual reimbursement of Rs 24,000/- for using your own laptop or computer.Fully remote roleBe part of a passionate, friendly and transparent culture which encourages your suggestions for improvement as we growFull training and ongoing supportAn unparalleled opportunity to be a team member of the UK’s largest mobile servicing, maintenance and repair business
