This role requires a strategic mindset, a sharp ear for talent, and the ability to lead cross-functional efforts with marketing, production, and legal teams.Responsibilities:Scout, discover, and sign promising new artists and producers across genresAnalyze market and streaming trends to inform talent acquisition and creative strategiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with artists, managers, and industry stakeholdersOversee the artistic development of signed talent, including music production, songwriting, and collaborationsCollaborate with internal teams on marketing, content creation, and promotional campaignsNegotiate and manage artist agreements in coordination with legal and business affairsAttend live shows, industry events, and showcases to network and evaluate talentProvide creative and strategic input on releases, branding, and long-term career planningQualifications:In-depth knowledge of the global music landscape and emerging trendsProven experience in A&R, artist development, or a similar music industry roleStrong communication, networking, and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to identify and nurture high-potential talentProficiency in music production, songwriting, or related creative fields is a plusFamiliarity with digital distribution platforms, marketing strategies, and streaming analyticsUnderstanding of music contracts, licensing, and publishing frameworksBachelor’s degree in Music Business, Arts Management, or a related discipline preferred
