Then join our team!Tasks & responsibilities:Establish, develop and manage the strategic and operative procurement departments of our production plant, Krones Machinery India, in BangaloreManage and control purchasing targets and breaking them down to the category levelEnsure the security of supply and competitiveness (price & quality) by selecting and managing suitable suppliers within the category strategy and support in negotiationsImplement corporate product strategies at the local entity in BangaloreContinuously optimize and automate local purchasing processesEnsure system-side data maintenance on siteSupport the supplier network development through appropriate performance monitoringAct as escalation level for all supplier-related problems at managerial levelCooperate closely with the corporate procurement department in GermanyQualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial engineering, construction engineering, business administration or similar12+ years of job-relevant and managerial experience Strong leadership skills and experience in developing and leading efficient procurement teamsGreenfield experience beneficial (establishing supplier network and procurement processes)Profound know-how in international strategic purchasingTrack record of excellent negotiation skillsProactive work approach and high-performing personalityVery strong English communication skills & local languageWillingness to travel up to 30%Our benefits Attractive compensation approachUnlimited learning/training opportunity (Learning platform)Talent development exchange programs (Across Borders)Wellbeing: Height adjustable tables
