OVERVIEW:This role reports to the Manager, Configuration Team. The Configuration Specialist I supports configuration activities for active and new client accounts across all TI Products. The Configuration Specialist I will be required to meet all client timelines and work in conjunction with the Technical Services and Operations Teams in order to facilitate the client on-boarding process and configuration of new TI rooms and applications.DESCRIPTION:Serve as a junior member of the Configuration Team and work with cross-functional teams on the implementation of new and existing client projectsWork to become an expert in Trial Interactive features and functionalityManage external and internal documentation and files as requiredConfigure application settings in Trial Interactive as per project requirements and execute quality control measures to ensure client and project expectations are metProduce high quality deliverablesAssist Technical Services and Project Mangers in fulfilling client expectations as it relates to TI application configurationsPerform other special projects or duties when required such as validation and UAT script execution and participate in integration projects to understand the impact on TI application settings Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager/supervisorREQUIRED SKILLS:Knowledge of various technological conceptsGeneral knowledge of the Trial Interactive product suite, with a concentration in Study Start Up (SSU),Electronic Trial Master File (eTMF), Collaborative Workspace, and Content Management System, amongst othersKnowledge of clinical development phases and processesSuperior written and spoken communication skills in EnglishProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in work experience0-2 years of experience in the IT and/or Life Sciences industryExperience with rolling out technological initiatives in a collaborative environmentDESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Knowledge of or experience in the Life Sciences industry (pharmaceutical, biotechnology or CRO experience preferred)Knowledge of technology within the industryAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work well with people from a variety of different backgrounds and culturesBuild relationships with clients and co-workersAbility to work independently and as part of a teamTake active measures to solve problems and commit to a high level of service.
