We are seeking a skilled Computer Vision Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will contribute to the development and optimization of computer vision models that support real-world object detection and image analysis tasks. The ideal candidate is experienced in Python, object detection frameworks, and image processing libraries.Note: This is a contract-to-hire position for 40 hours per week, initially for 3-6 months. Based on your performance, you may be considered for permanent employment. For permanenet employment, candidates are required to work from our Pune office. ** Not suitable for freshers** 2-3 years of relevant work experience is required excluding internships.Key Responsibilities:Develop and optimize object detection pipelines using YOLO, Faster R-CNN, and other state-of-the-art models.Implement image pre-processing and augmentation techniques using OpenCV and Pillow.Integrate detection models into production workflows using Python.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine model accuracy, performance, and deployment readiness.Conduct experiments to evaluate model performance, including accuracy, precision, and recall metrics.Maintain clear documentation of code, experiments, and implementation decisions.Must-Have Qualifications:Strong programming skills in PythonExperience with object detection techniques (e.g., YOLO, RCNN)Proficiency in OpenCV and Pillow for image processingUnderstanding of model training, optimization, and deployment workflowsAbility to write clean, modular, and well-documented codePreferred Skills:Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) for hosting or deploying modelsExperience with labeling datasets and annotation toolsKnowledge of API development and system integrationBackground in evaluating model performance metricsContract Details:Duration: 3–6 months (with possible extension or full time offer)Competitive compensation based on experience
