Job Title

Job Purpose : Direct business overall strategic financial initiatives for profit maximization and maintaining the financial health of the business to enable business performance.(A) Strategy, Planning and Management:Manage and support the financial performance of the region, prepare short term and long term forecasts to achieve financial objectives, and relay requirements to BU Head in line with BU objectivesDevelop annual and future business plans and estimates in consultation with Sales & Marketing function and other stakeholdersReview working capital requirements, cash flow data, business plan; and manage fund raising in consultation with legal entity CFO from group finance function Assess all dependencies, resources, services etc., market trends, and competitor pricing to validate pricing, monitor changes in processes that may impact the cost, suggest cost-reducing solutions.(B) FP&A :Analyze the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), especially relating to financial metrics such as sales, expenditures, and profit margin.Present the monthly and quarterly financial reports of various units and departments.Perform analysis of revenue performance and growth, profit and loss reports, operating variances, revenue reports and key performance indicators.Manage preparation of financial and business related analysis and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments.(C) Accounting, operations, Financial Budgeting and Planning:Monitor performance of the business and the various functions and units against the set budget through audits - identify and report major deviations and recommend course correctionsPrepare financial reports of the BU in compliance with accounting standards, implement accounting policies in alignment with statutory requirementsSupport legal entity CFO in taxation matters for the BU (respective entity in consideration) to ensure compliance, enable compliance with ERP system (from audit perspective)(D) Relations and Policies:Maintain relationship with key stakeholders, financial (banks, NBFCs) and legal, provide legal advice to BU head in case of an issueLiaise with BU engineering head and other relevant internal stakeholders to identify their budget requirements for new product developmentsDrive implementation of group SOPs for financial processes like taxation, etc.Education QualificationsCA / MBA in Finance Relevant experience 15+ years in Auto industry, 4+ of which is at senior positions leading the Finance function Skills and capabilities required• Analytical abilities, Legal and financial knowledge• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems• Resource Management
