For more information about our people and platforms, visit us at .Job Purpose:The Financial Reporting team at Cerberus provides fund/investment/portfolio/platform-level performance and exposure analytics across credit, private equity, and real estate strategies. We are recruiting an experienced associate/senior associate to join our team in supporting the growth of the business.As a Financial Reporting associate, you will collaborate with teams across the firm to perform quantitative financial analyses and create investor reports or other deliverables for investors, senior management, and external counterparties. Deliverables include bespoke investor reports, investment summaries and responses to due diligence requests, amongst others.Responsibilities/Deliverables:Produce comprehensive fund reports detailing fund/investment/portfolio/platform-level performance and exposure analyticsUpdate and maintain models used to generate investor reports and other deliverablesCollaborate with Investment Professionals, Sales, Operations, Legal and Marketing to provide value-add financial analysis and complete ad-hoc requests from current/prospective investorsMonitor cash and trading activity and reconcile against investor reportsValidate models and lead strategic projects related to automation, deliverable design, and process re-engineeringKey Requirements:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution5+ years of financial analysis, alternative investments, fund reporting or similar experience (CFA designation is a plusProficiency manipulating large data setsStrong knowledge across alternative investment strategies including credit, private equity, and real estateDemonstrated leadership or management experience a plusUnderstanding of fund and portfolio performance metrics (IRR, Annualized Returns, Multiples, P&L Stratification) and complex/varied fee structuresUnderstanding of accounting concepts and financial statement analysis (Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Statement of Equity)Experience producing Fund reports or responding to investor requests a plusAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills required (Tables, Dynamic Ranges, Pivot Tables etc.) Proficiency with VBA or other coding language preferredExperience in Power BI, SAP Business Objects and SharePoint a plusBasic proficiency in Anaplan strongly preferredAttention to detail is critical
