Job Description

Purpose of the Role:To oversee and manage all aspects of the store or warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management, smooth operations, and adherence to company policiesJob Responsibilities:To formulate and ensure implementation of all process (Operational & Non-operational) and strategies in line with customer/organization business requirement.Evaluate KPIs (As per contract), review of process performance & strategy progress, action plans on areas for improvement, and monitoring customer complaint and its resolutionEvaluate service levels, review processes and procedures, identify areas for improvement, and establish and execute action plans.Monitor and track of direct & indirect costs.Manage and lead a group of employees in the location to ensure work discipline.Responsible to handle critical IR issues & resolving disputes in timely mannerAssign, monitor & review of individual performance as per KRA & Develop plan for performance improvementManaging & Reviewing BA performance on monthly basis with remedies in case of deficient performanceMonthly review with team and CustomerTo provide inputs to customer and MLL in form of Daily MIS reports.Timely submission of invoices and clear outstanding.Ensure identification of environmental aspects & their impacts, OH&S hazards & risks of activities under their control.Periodic review and updating of Aspects/Impacts and HIRA registerPropose objectives and targets.Ensure compliance on applicable legal & other requirements related to EHS.Responsible for compliance of applicable compliance obligationsEnsuring Conservation of natural resourcesIdentify training needs of employees/ contract employees under their controlPreferred Candidate Profile:Warehouse & Inventory Management Overseeing inbound, storage, and outbound processesEnsuring inventory accuracy and conducting regular auditsOptimizing space utilization and warehouse layout Logistics & Supply Chain OperationsCoordinating transportation, distribution, and last-mile deliveryManaging vendor relationships for logistics and 3PL servicesEnsuring timely dispatch and order fulfillmentTeam Leadership & Workforce ManagementSupervising and training warehouse staffManpower planning and shift schedulingImplementing performance monitoring and upskilling programsCompliance & Safety Ensuring adherence to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) regulationsManaging statutory compliance and documentation Conducting safety drills and risk assessmentsProcess Optimization & Technology ImplementationDriving automation and digital transformation in warehouse operations Implementing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP toolsApplying Lean/Six Sigma methodologies for continuous improvementCost & Budget ManagementMonitoring operational expenses and controlling costsImplementing cost-saving initiatives in warehouse and logistics operationsNegotiating contracts with vendors and service providersStakeholder & Customer Coordination Collaborating with internal departments (Sales, Finance, Supply Chain) Addressing customer queries and ensuring SLA compliance Providing regular reports and performance updates to managementAdditional Skills Required:1. Warehouse & Inventory ManagementProficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software.Understanding of inventory control techniques (FIFO, LIFO, FEFO).Expertise in demand forecasting and stock optimization.Desired Qualification & Experience:12-15 Years of Experience in Store/Warehouse ManagementBtech in Mechanical EngineeringMBA in Logistics and Supply Chain is mandatoryProficient in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehousing.
