SUMMARY: The Configuration Management role oversees and ensures compliance with Allegion Configuration Management policies and procedures. This position allows you to bring your knowledge, creativity and ideas to develop and guide the organization to a mature configuration management process. This Role will be reporting to Global IT Manager - Asset & Configuration Manager. This position is based out of Bangalore, India. Hybrid Work ModelDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ▪ CMS Process Management: Develop, implement, and maintain CMS & CMDB data management Processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data in accordance with the Management▪ Data Analysis and Reporting: Create, Manage, monitor, review and update all procedural documentation and work instructions of Configuration Management Process.▪ Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve CMDB processes to ensure alignment with ITIL best practices and business requirements.▪ Audit and Compliance: Define and improve the Configuration Audit process & Execute Periodic Audits.▪ Trainings: Create training for CI owners and communicate to IT Teams the Configuration Management process. ▪ Data Standardization: Manage data within various tables in the CMDB and Assets and its Data Sources and bring normalization and standardization▪ Discovery: Plans and manages input to the Configuration Management System, including discovery and other data import methods▪ Integrations: Configure efficient Identification and Reconciliation & Monitor CMDB health and resolve conflicts between authoritative data sources▪ Relationships: Define and maintain standard CIs, CI relationships, and CMDB Classification with relevance to the business needs and / or organizations requirement.▪ CSDM: Define & Deploy Allegion Specific CSDM Model in accordance with the management and stakeholders requirements▪ Access Guardrails: Ensures appropriate security and access levels to the Configuration Management System▪ Reporting: Analyze CMDB data to identify trends, patterns, and insights, and provide reports as needed by Management and Business Stakeholders▪ Execute duties and tasks as delegated by the process owner, adapting to changing priorities and business requirements as needed.TECHNICAL EXPERTISE: ▪ Strong knowledge on ITIL v3 / v4 processes, & ITAM tools like ServiceNow, BMC, Flexera, Snow, SLM, SCCM, Intune. Service Now knowledge is preferred▪ Good to have – Solid understanding of ServiceNow MID server configuration and strong knowledge of data source integrations with ServiceNow▪ Good to have – Strong understanding of CMDB life cycle management in the ServiceNow environment.▪ Min 8-10 years of experience in SACM & CSDMPROFESSIONAL ATTRIBUTES: ▪ Should be Process Oriented.▪ Should have very good understanding of CSDM and Service Mapping concepts and should have applied this on previously▪ Personal attributes like Stakeholder Management, Good Communication Skills, Analytical Skills, Presentation Skills, Ability to work under pressure etc. needed to carry out this job▪ Exposure working with global teams in a global setup
