Job Description

Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA L2 Support Analyst to join our SAP support team. The role involves resolving moderately complex technical and functional issues, supporting end users, collaborating with L3 teams, and ensuring the smooth operation of SAP S/4HANA systems across one or more functional areas (FI, MM, SD, PP, etc.).Key Responsibilities:Provide Level 2 (L2) support for SAP S/4HANA across designated modules (e.g., Finance, Materials Management, Sales & Distribution, Production Planning).Analyze and resolve incidents escalated from L1 support, ensuring minimal business disruption.Troubleshoot and debug standard SAP functionality and custom developments (reports, enhancements, interfaces, etc.).Collaborate with functional and technical teams to address issues involving configuration, data inconsistencies, or integration points.Perform root cause analysis and propose long-term solutions or preventive measures.Support configuration changes, data uploads, and periodic system maintenance tasks.Document solutions and update internal knowledge base and SOPs.Work closely with business users to understand requirements and provide system guidance or minor enhancements.Participate in system upgrades, patches, regression testing, and cutover activities.Ensure adherence to SLAs and ITIL-aligned support processes.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field.2–5 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA support or implementation.Strong hands-on experience in one or more SAP S/4HANA modules (FI, MM, SD, PP, etc.).Good understanding of SAP business processes and cross-module dependencies.Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps, SAP GUI, and user roles.Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira) and incident management practices.Ability to work under pressure and handle high-priority incidents effectively.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Preferred Qualifications:SAP certification in respective modules.Experience in SAP S/4HANA migration or greenfield implementation projects.Knowledge of ABAP debugging (basic level).Understanding of integration with third-party systems via IDocs, BAPIs, or APIs.Exposure to workflow, output management, and job scheduling tools (Redwood, SAP CPS, etc.).
