Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Estimation Engineer specializing in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) and Cleanroom projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, cleanroom technologies, and cost estimation, coupled with the ability to drive sales growth. This role is pivotal in the pre-construction phase, focusing on developing competitive project proposals and fostering client relationships.1. Project Evaluation:Analyze project specifications, technical drawings, and documentation to understand client requirements.Conduct site visits to gather critical data for accurate project estimations.Assess HVAC and cleanroom system requirements to ensure alignment with project goals.2. Cost Estimation:Develop detailed cost estimates for HVAC and cleanroom projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and other project-related expenses.Utilize advanced cost estimation software and tools for precise and consistent calculations.Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to refine cost estimates.3. Sales & Business Development:Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and build strong relationships with potential clients.Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and project proposals to clients.Negotiate project terms, pricing, and contracts to secure new business.4. Bid Preparation:Prepare competitive bid proposals that are well-documented and aligned with client expectations.Coordinate with sales and project management teams to ensure bid alignment with business objectives.Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids for inclusion in overall project estimates.5. Value Engineering:Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering without compromising project quality.Collaborate with design and engineering teams to propose innovative, cost-effective solutions.6. Market Research:Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and market conditions related to HVAC and cleanroom systems.Analyze competitor pricing and strategies to maintain competitiveness in the market.7. Communication & Client Engagement:Effectively communicate technical information, cost estimates, and project proposals to clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.Maintain regular follow-ups with clients to build trust and secure project commitments.8. Quality Assurance:Conduct thorough reviews of estimation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of sales and estimation activities.9.
