Job Title: Digital Production Manager (EdTech)Location: Pune / RemoteExperience Required: 15+ YearsIndustry: EdTech / Digital LearningEmployment Type: Full-TimeRole Overview:We are looking for a highly experienced Digital Production Manager to lead and streamline the end-to-end digital content production lifecycle for our rapidly growing EdTech platform. This role is critical in ensuring the timely delivery of engaging, high-quality digital content that aligns with educational standards, learning outcomes, and brand guidelines.The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in digital content production, with a strong background in EdTech, team leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration. This role offers the flexibility of working from Pune or remotely, while contributing to impactful educational content delivery at scale.Key Responsibilities:Content Production Strategy & Execution:Own the content production roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and academic objectives.Lead the full production lifecycle—from production, quality assurance, and publishing.Oversee the creation of eBooks, simulations, and interactive learning modules.Ensure all content meets high production quality standards, is pedagogically sound, and learner-centric.Team & Resource Management:Build and manage cross-functional teams including in-house staff, freelancers, and external vendors.Allocate and optimize human, technical, and financial resources across multiple concurrent projects.Identify, onboard, and manage production partners such as developers and Quality controllers.Project & Budget Oversight:Drive production planning, timelines, and workflows using Agile or other project management methodologies.Track project milestones and ensure content is delivered on time and within budget.Manage risks and resolve production bottlenecks with agility and foresight.Quality Control & Process Optimization:Define and uphold rigorous QA standards for all content deliverables.Review and provide constructive feedback on quality issues to flex teams.Collaborate with the QA and flex teams to test platform functionality, ensuring a seamless learner experience.Stakeholder Collaboration:Serve as the bridge between content creators and developers.Ensure clear and consistent communication on goals, expectations, timelines, and feedback loops.Provide regular project status updates to leadership and stakeholders.Performance Monitoring & Innovation:Analyze content performance using learner feedback and engagement analytics.Continuously refine production processes for efficiency and scalability.Stay updated with emerging trends in EdTech and content technology to implement innovative production techniques.Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer science or relevant field.15+ years of experience in digital content production, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role in the EdTech sector.Proven experience in managing large-scale content production teams and multi-format educational content.Strong knowledge of Fixed layout ePubs, Read Aloud eBooks, CMI5 player, Authoring platforms. Expertise in PDF – fixed layout ePub conversion through latest technologies.Proficiency in latest technologies to improvise the production processExcellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and understanding of digital pedagogy is a strong advantage.Familiarity with content accessibility, localization, and SEO best practices.Preferred:Experience with Agile methodologies and EdTech platforms.Experience in scaling content production for K-12, higher education, or upskilling platforms.Knowledge in Fixed layout ePub, html, css, Javascript, CMI5, Accessibility and other eLearning standards.
