Role: Assistant Manager - CinemasLocation: Malda / Habra / Bardhhaman / Kolkata - onsiteAbout UsSVF Entertainment is a leading Media and Entertainment company in East India, with 8 National Awards to its credit and capabilities in Film and TV Production, Cinemas, Distribution, Digital Cinema, Music, and New Media.SVF Cinemas is one of the largest chains of movie theatres in the Eastern part of India that aims to revolutionize the cinematic experience, by continuously innovating and updating technology for local audiences and providing premium facilities, across 23 properties and 43 screens.As we expand our properties and our geographical reach, we're looking for dynamic unit managers across our properties.RoleWe at SVF Cinemas are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager - Cinemas who would be in charge of all the aspects of overall cinema operations and micromanagement of the day-to-day aspect related to multiplex operations to meet the sales and performance standards.ResponsibilitiesEnsuring that the cinema unit complies with health and safety legislation, labor law, establishment law, and other legal aspects including COVID Regulations.Training and managing the staff adhering to the SOP to maximize productivity and meet the sales targets. Evaluating the performance of the cinema staff as and when required.Maintaining overall hygiene, safety, and service standard to improve the customer experience.Making sure that excellent customer service is provided by timely addressing the customer inquiries and complaints and maintaining the cinema standards.Working together with agencies to ensure that housekeeping and security standards are obeyed, motivating all staff to do their best in performing their duties.Promoting and marketing films to generate business.Keeping financial and statistical records while writing reports and financial forecasts.Ensuring that operating and accounting procedures and standards are obeyed.RequirementsMust have relevant experience of 2-4 years in working in multiplex operation.Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Must possess experience in managing a team and working collaboratively to meet the SOP.Must be flexible to travel and work under pressure as per business requirement.Must be proficient with MS Excel and MS Office in general.Excellent managerial and organizational skills.All Assistant Manager - Cinema are expected to travel across properties as required from time to time.
