Kline and Company is currently seeking a full-time Consultant dedicated to the Chemicals/Materials & Process Industries Practice team, serving global companies.As a member of the Chemicals/PI Practice team, your primary responsibility will be to develop competitive information to support assessments that address critical and strategic manufacturing decisions, mainly in the chemicals, materials, and petroleum industries. Critical and confidential issues may include manufacturing cost competitiveness of existing operations and new plants. Consultants will have the support, tools and resources necessary to conduct searches of secondary sources such as:Business databasesEngineering/technical databasesGovernment agency records, including environmental, labor, tax sourcesIndustry studiesPatent literatureTrade and industry mediaOther industry/government sourcesA key requirement of the position is to conduct primary research (interviews) with selected industry sources. You will also assist the Chemicals/PI project team in:Analyzing research dataInterpreting findingsWriting interim and final client reports and presentation
