This role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in OSS/BSS domains, technical solution architecture, and software development best practices. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in managing enterprise-scale projects, overseeing cross-functional teams, and aligning technical solutions with business objectives. Additionally, the role entails direct engagement with customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, requirement analysis, and successful project execution. With a strategic mindset and hands-on leadership approach, the candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, scalable, and innovative solutions while fostering a high-performance team environment.Role and Responsibilities:The candidate should be a multi-faceted multitasker and ideally should have played the roles of Developer, Business Analyst, Solution Design/Architect, Team Lead, Delivery Lead, Project Manager and DevOps engineer during their career journey in the Software Industry.Experience: IT Experience (12+ years) with hands-on Development, Delivery, & Line/People Management responsibility.Industry: Telecom/ Communication industry (worked in Enterprise projects), ideally 5 years.Domain Knowledge: Must have been recognized/demonstrated as a domain expert in any of the OSS/BSS areas, including Product Catalog, CRM, OE, Fulfilment, Inventory, Billing, Integration or Migration.Line/People Management: Lead team of 5-15 (may be more) developers, which includes hiring, training, and career development. Experience in leading cross-functional teams will be an added advantage.Communication: Must have good communication skills as he is the front end to customer/internal stakeholders for all communications related to the Solution/ Product/Domain handled.Technical Requirement Analysis: He is the first POC for any requirement analysis for any issue related to the domain, and he facilitates engagement of Client, BA, QA, RE team and creates technical architecture of the applications. Ability to handle non-functional requirements and revise/make technical design/architecture decisions.Ability to do the estimation and provide the delivery plan.Knowledge of Project Management: Handled at least 2-3 Solution Delivery Projects and knowledge of SDLC. Project Management with Technical knowledge will be strongly preferred.Work Delegation: Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levelsRelease Management: Actively involved in software delivery, part of release planning, calendar and updating customers.Development Experience: Must have worked as a Software Developer for at least 5 years.
