With close to half a million users, it continues to be the fastest-growing digital bank in the region.JOB PURPOSE:The role is expected to have discussions with Technical and Solution Architects to find optimal solution to a problem and implement it based on the infrastructure and project requirements. You are encouraged not only use but also contribute into open-source technologies wherever it is applicable while maintaining interoperability and functionality of the infrastructure. You will be expected to do deep dive into various technologies and explore the capabilities to leverage.Key Responsibilities:Drive projects to move the non-compliant products into the standard stack.Automate the installation and configuration of standard stack items.Perform code review of peers.Establish the product backlog that require to be addressed on 2-week sprints.Drive backlog projects to completion with infrastructure as code approach.Continuous R&D and vendor engagement.Automate the installation to achieve Zero touch unattended deployment.Review all housekeeping activities and identify key processes that should be automated.Introduce Open-Source technologies into standard technology stackDesign solutions that cater for enhancing the operational stability.Address Problem tickets, Risk and Audit items in the products backlog.Work with the wider infrastructure team to ensure consistency of the deliverables.Align with Architecture standards and collaborate on different design forumsAlign with Security standards and collaborate on different design forumsKey Requirements:Bachelor of Computer Science or Equivalent Work ExperienceKubernetes, Azure or AWSAt least 5 years of experience at a relevant technical position in large organizations with hands on automation knowledge.Banking or Financial Background.Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and technologies like GitOps (Argo CD).Hands on experience using DevOps Tools like Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube and Checkmarx and VA (Vulnerability Assessment) complianceStrong knowledge on Kubernetes, OpenShift and Container Network Interface (CNI).Experience with programing and scripting language like Spring Boot, NodeJS, Python and microservice architecture.Knowledge on monitoring tools like ELK.Strong container image management experience using Docker and distroless concepts.Strong understanding of Linux.Knowledge and experience in writing automation using Terraform, Groovy and Ansible.
