As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will:Collaborate with Scrum Teams to develop and execute test plans based on deliverable requirements and acceptance criteriaEstablish a comprehensive test strategy and develop an implementation planBuild, maintain, and improve the test automation framework and scripts for testing mobile and web applications within our CI/CD pipelineIdentify app-related issues via automated test scriptsTrack and validate defects to ensure that issues are resolved promptlyWork with Engineering Management to improve the testing process Required qualifications:5+ years’ experience architecting and implementing test automation frameworks for mobile and web applicationsProficiency writing integration testsProficiency testing restful API’s, UX, and microservicesUnderstanding of testing practices within a CI/CD pipelineUnderstanding of best-practice software quality assurance practicesExperience leading QA and/or Automation teamsExperience using Jira or similar bug tracking softwareExperience working in an Agile engineering environment What will make you stand out:Proficiency with Webdriver.io, Selenium, Postman, and/or Appium frameworksExperience mentoring others on software QA practicesAdvanced knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle and Software Testing cyclesExperience using Zephyr or other test management toolExperience working in Ruby, Java, and JavascriptExperience analyzing business processes and requirementsExperience collaborating with DevOps Engineers to implement CI/CD Your peers would say you:Have a track record of implementing test strategies that shorten test cycle times and increase code coverageHave a passion for product quality and software testingAre excellent at documentation and in-person communicationCan lead small teams to complete multiple business initiativesMake informed decisions and know when to ask for adviceLove to learn new things and can do so quickly
