Identifying internal talent and elevating them to enhanced leadership roles is the hallmark of our organization’s DNA and has been the key factor in delivering our rapid growth.In line with our philosophy of “Growth from Within”, we are offering an unparalleled opportunity to our high-performing business leaders for the position of Head Contracts - Commercial, Vedanta Jharsuguda.Roles & Responsibilities:Managing & standardizing Contract lifecycle processFormulating contracting strategies for different procurement verticals Strategizing & driving negotiations and close-outs (with respect to the legal terms & conditions in the contracts)Ensuring the alignment of contracts with the company objectives & compliance standardsTo act as a conduit between legal & commercial functions (internally) and as a bridge between Vedanta & Vendors (externally)To ensure that all contractual accountability and duties are met by both the parties signing itTo provide resolution on a mutual win-win basis whenever a situation arisesTo educate the stakeholders about their rights and responsibilities as per the conditions laid in the contractSpearheading risk management strategies & constantly deliver value to the stakeholdersTo draft, monitor, review and update the contracts in line with the continuously evolving legal regulationsDesired Skills:Education - BE/BTech/MBA/LLB/MA+BL/ML or in any relevant field12+ years of Work experience in procurement / contracting / contract managementProficiency in Contract LawPossess initiative, strong leadership & analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skillsEligibility Criteria:60% throughout in 10th, 12th, Graduation and Post-graduation without any backlogs at the time of selection and joiningMaximum 1 year of gap between either XII & Graduation or between Graduation & Post Graduation.
