SAP ABAP Developer (Remote — India/Pakistan)Role OverviewSynovia Digital is hiring an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to strengthen our remote-first team. The position is open to both full-time employees and contractors located in India or Pakistan. You will build and support custom SAP solutions, primarily for SD, MM, and EWM, to power our supply chain and logistics projects.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain custom ABAP objects (reports, interfaces, forms, enhancements).Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions in collaboration with functional consultants.Debug and resolve complex SAP issues; provide steady post-implementation support.Drive full-cycle development activities: requirements, coding, unit/functional testing, deployment, and hyper-care.Produce clear technical documentation for all developments and enhancements.Enforce SAP best-practice coding standards and quality guidelines.Support data migration (LSMW, BDC) and integrate SAP with external systems via ALE/IDoc, RFC, BAPI, and web services.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.10+ years of SAP ABAP development (classic & OO) covering reports, interfaces, BAPIs, BDC, SmartForms/Adobe Forms, ALV, and enhancement frameworks (User Exits, BADIs, enhancement points).Deep knowledge of SAP tables, Data Dictionary objects, and core logistics modules (SD, MM, EWM).Fiori/UI5 expertise: >Design, develop, customize, and extend SAP UI5 applications to meet business needs. >Configure and enhance SAP Fiori Launchpad (catalogs, groups, tiles, target mappings). >Optimize application performance to deliver responsive, user-friendly designs.Proficiency with SAP integration tools (ALE/IDoc, RFC, BAPI, web services).Experience in Agile and/or Waterfall project environments.Excellent English communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills; proven success working in distributed teams.Preferred (Nice-to-Have)Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and ABAP on HANA (CDS Views, AMDP).Experience with SAP Workflow, BRF+, SAP BTP, BOPF, or ABAP RAP.Functional insight into supply-chain or logistics processes.
