Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer Location: Delhi, Noida, Mohali, Bangalore, Ahmedabad Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with 3-6 years of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and defect tracking systems. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality - Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and issues using defect tracking tools - Conduct functional, regression, performance, usability, and security testing - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to define test requirements - Develop and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test cases - Ensure adherence to quality standards, guidelines, and best practices - Conduct root cause analysis and suggest improvements in development processes - Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in software testing Required Skill Set : - Strong knowledge of manual and automation testing techniques - Experience in automation tools like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cypress - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript - Experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI - Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello - Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter. Education & Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - Relevant certifications (ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent) are a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
