Each company is led by its own management team and supported by a dedicated HR lead, who reports dually to the respective company head and the Group HR Head. Role Overview The Group Head – Human Resources will oversee and integrate the HR function across all three companies. This role demands a strategic leader capable of aligning people practices with business goals, driving group-wide HR initiatives while preserving the unique operational needs of each entity. The position calls for hands-on leadership in creating efficient, scalable, and compliant HR systems that foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and employee engagement. Core Responsibilities Strategic HR Leadership Formulate and implement a group-wide HR strategy aligned with business vision and operational priorities. Establish standardized HR policies, governance frameworks, and compliance protocols across entities. Promote synergy and shared learning across companies while enabling autonomy where appropriate. Organizational Design & Development Advise leadership on organizational structuring, talent planning, and change management. Drive clarity in roles, performance expectations, and reporting frameworks across businesses. Foster cultural alignment, shared values, and a consistent employer brand across the group. Talent Management & Leadership Development Lead the deployment of performance management systems, leadership development programs, and succession planning. Design and deliver learning and development frameworks that support capability enhancement and career growth. Identify and develop high-potential talent in collaboration with company leadership. HR Governance & Oversight Manage dual reporting relationships with company-level HR heads; conduct regular performance reviews and strategy alignments. Ensure full compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and internal controls. Oversee employee relations, grievance redressal mechanisms, and disciplinary processes. Talent Acquisition & Retention Spearhead group-level recruitment strategy for leadership and critical roles. Define and execute employer branding, talent outreach, and onboarding strategies. Build retention models that address engagement, motivation, and internal mobility. Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations Design and harmonize compensation structures in line with industry benchmarks and internal equity. Drive operational efficiency through HR technology adoption, automation, and shared services models. Ensure accurate and timely execution of payroll, HRIS, and employee life cycle processes. Candidate Profile Education: MBA or PGDM in Human Resources from a recognized institute. Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally across hospitality, travel, or technology domains. Exposure to multi-entity environments or group-level HR roles is essential. Location: Based in or open to relocation to Siliguri, West Bengal.
