Our platform empowers large organizations to engage their workforce and customers with scalable, human-like video at a fraction of the cost and time.We’re looking for a Head of Engineering — a hands-on senior technologist who can architect, build, and scale. You’ll lead the tech vision, own the roadmap, and roll up your sleeves to help ship impactful features.⸻What You’ll Do • Own and lead the engineering function across product, infrastructure, DevOps, and security • Architect and scale systems for AI video generation, processing, and delivery • Build efficient video processing pipelines using open-source tools (e.g. MoviePy, FFmpeg) • Optimize for performance using CDNs, caching, and in-video technologies (e.g. overlays, audio-sync) • Ensure enterprise-grade security, scalability, and compliance in infra and data handling • Work cross-functionally with Product, Content, and AI teams to drive execution • Hire and mentor a small, high-performing engineering team⸻Basic RequirementsEngineering & Architecture • 8–12 years of software engineering experience, with 2–3 years in a technical leadership role • Proven ability to architect and build large-scale distributed systems • Strong backend experience (Node.js / Python / Go preferred) • Solid frontend exposure (React or similar) is a plusVideo Tech (Must-Have) • Hands-on experience with open-source video libraries (e.g. MoviePy, FFmpeg) • Understanding of video editing, processing, rendering, and audio-visual sync • Familiarity with overlays, transitions, and in-video personalizationInfra, DevOps & Security • Strong knowledge of AWS (or equivalent cloud infra), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, logging, monitoring, and incident response • Deep understanding of CDN, caching strategies, and video content delivery at scale • Enterprise-grade security mindset (SOC2, GDPR, access control, encryption best practices)Soft Skills & Leadership • Startup mindset with a bias for execution • Comfortable in ambiguity, with ability to prioritize and lead under pressure • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills⸻Why Join AiVANTA? • Build a next-gen AI product redefining enterprise communication • Influence the tech direction and lead a product-led, fast-growing company • Work directly with founders and shape the core engineering culture • Competitive salary + meaningful equity + a high-growth trajectory
