Role Overview We are looking for an experienced iOS Engineer to lead the development of intuitive, scalable, and secure iOS applications. You’ll collaborate with our designers, backend developers, and product leads to build mobile features that empower students and educators. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring deep familiarity with the Apple ecosystem and modern app development practices. Key Responsibilities iOS App Development Design, build, and maintain iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of apps across multiple iPhone and iPad devices Implement new features, bug fixes, and enhancements based on user feedback and internal needs Write clean, maintainable code with proper documentation and testing Collaboration & Optimization Work closely with product managers and designers to define app functionality Integrate front-end interfaces with back-end APIs Optimize app performance, battery usage, and load times Publish and manage app updates through the App Store lifecycle Qualifications and Experience 3+ years of professional experience in iOS development Strong command of Swift, Xcode, and modern iOS frameworks (UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, etc.) Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries (e.g., Firebase, Alamofire) Solid understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and mobile UX best practices Familiarity with Git version control, agile workflows, and remote collaboration tools Experience submitting and maintaining apps on the App Store Strong debugging, performance tuning, and communication skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment Compensation and Work Hours Salary: $1,000 USD per month (based on experience and expertise) Work Schedule: Full-time, aligned with Pacific Standard Time (PST) Why Join Sapience?
