You'll work closely with product leadership, engineering teams, data scientists, and other stakeholders to create cohesive solutions that align with our business goals while maintaining technical excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitectural Leadership: Design and implement scalable system architectures using patterns like CQRS, Event Sourcing, and microservices. Guide teams in making architectural decisions that balance performance, reliability, maintainability, and innovation.Code Quality Stewardship: Establish and enforce coding standards, review practices, and quality metrics. Implement automated quality gates and conduct regular architectural reviews to ensure technical debt remains manageable.API Architecture: Design cohesive API strategies using FastAPI, gRPC, and REST principles. Create API governance frameworks that ensure consistency, security, and performance across services.Data System Design: Architect data processing pipelines using Kafka, Apache Airflow, and MongoDB that can handle high throughput while maintaining data integrity. Design schemas and data models that enable efficient querying and processing.AI Engineering Leadership: Guide the integration of AI capabilities by establishing patterns for model deployment, vector database usage, and LLM integration. Create frameworks for both generative and descriptive AI applications.Team Mentorship: Provide technical mentorship to engineering teams through code reviews, design sessions, and knowledge sharing. Lead by example in pair programming sessions while elevating team capabilities.Technical Strategy: Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to align technical roadmaps with business goals.
