In this role, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement innovative features, optimize application performance, and ensure seamless user experiences. If you are passionate about building scalable, high-performance iOS solutions and enjoy driving technical discussions and adopting new technologies, we’d love to hear from you!THE RESPONSIBILITIESDevelopment, testing, and deployment of complex iOS applications across a variety of devices, including iPhone, iPad, and other iOS-based platforms.Architect and develop scalable iOS applications with integration into backend systems, ensuring high availability and performance.Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to define, design, and implement new features and functionalities.Monitor and enhance application performance, focusing on quality, responsiveness, and reliability, and ensure seamless user experiences.Establish and advocate for best practices, such as unit testing, test-driven development, SCRUM, code refactoring, and adherence to coding standards.Proactively identify and incorporate relevant new technologies and frameworks into our development and design practices.Drive technical discussions, architecture planning, and contribute to long-term strategy by identifying and addressing potential challenges in early stages.REQUIRED SKILLSExpert Proficiency with both Objective-C and Swift, including in-depth knowledge of Cocoa Touch.Advanced Experience with iOS frameworks, including Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, and others relevant to app development.Strong Knowledge of asynchronous programming, threading, and performance tuning, with experience optimizing app performance for a variety of devices and OS versions.Extensive Familiarity with RESTful APIs to integrate with backend systems, and knowledge of GraphQL or other APIs is a plus.Deep Understanding of UI/UX standards and Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines to create consistent, native experiences.Experience with low-level C-based libraries and other language interoperability (such as bridging Objective-C and Swift).Proficient in Performance and Memory Tuning with tools like Instruments, including experience addressing memory leaks and optimizing memory usage.Advanced Knowledge of Cloud Messaging APIs, including push notifications, Firebase, and other similar services.Demonstrated Skill in benchmarking, performance optimization, and app performance monitoring.Strong Understanding of Git and Version Control, with experience managing branching strategies and collaborative workflows.Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment tools and processes, particularly as they relate to the iOS ecosystem.Optional: Experience with AI-Augmented Coding Tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Chat GPT) to accelerate coding workflows and improve productivity.QUALIFICATIONS3-5 years of experience in iOS development.Strong understanding of the iOS framework.Experience with AI and machine learning frameworks.Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to technology advancements.
