This Indian company will be the Lexitas Global Capability Center, helping build a world class IT development team, and over time serve as a Shared Services hub for several of the corporate functions.For More Information - is a Full-Time Job located in Chennai, India.Key Roles and Responsibilities:The Senior Data Migration Developer for the Court Reporting Division at Lexitas will play a pivotal role in the migration of different business units to a common court reporting platform. This role involves collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to align data migration goals with business objectives and system capabilities. The Data Migration Developer will conduct regular audits and validation checks to ensure data is accurate, complete, and consistent before, during, and after migration. They will also identify and address duplicate, outdated, or incorrect data prior to migration to prevent errors in the new system. Automation will be key to the success of ongoing migrations.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Define migration mapping and migration staging structureManage the migration activities for multiple projects within the stipulated deadlinesResponsible for fixing issues raised because of MigrationsParticipate in peer reviews of code and suggest coding best practicesParticipate in brainstorming discussion to build better solutions for the customerOther duties as assignedSkills:Actively demonstrates the values of SPIRIT (Service excellence, Positivity, Innovation, Respect, Initiative, and Teamwork).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Possesses excellent comprehension, written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical, business, and marketing.Proven track record of migrating data between applicationsThorough knowledge on ETL framework and should have worked with on ETL for at least 2 yearsProficient with SQL and fundamental relational database conceptsGood understanding of tools used for Version control systems and continuous integration toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skills to provide feedback to customers regarding their legacy data and help them in getting their data migratedExperience in Enterprise Application troubleshootingExperience in designing and migrating workloads to an AWS Cloud environmentQualifications:Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field8-10 years of experience senior data migration developerProven track record of successfully delivering products that meet business and user needsExperience in the legal support services industry is preferred but not mandatory.
