Web Developer / Designer (Remote)Are you a creative and tech-savvy student or recent graduate eager to build your skills in web development and design? Ken Foundation, a non-profit organization, is looking for enthusiastic individuals to help enhance and maintain our website. This is a great opportunity to gain practical experience, build your portfolio, and contribute to a meaningful cause. Key Responsibilities:Upload, organize, and update website content (text, images, events).Maintain the website using CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Wix).Design basic layouts and apply visually appealing color schemes.Optimize user experience by ensuring the site is intuitive and up to date.Suggest and implement creative improvements to design and functionality.Learn and apply basic SEO principles for better search visibility.Stay updated on emerging web technologies and tools.Collaborate with the team on campaigns and content updates. Skills Required:Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React/Bootstrap is a plus).Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).Strong eye for design, layout, and color theory.Willingness to learn new tools and adapt to feedback.Basic understanding of web hosting, domains, and site structure.Detail-oriented, creative, and proactive problem-solver. Location: Remote (Virtual) Start Date: June 1, 2025 Note: This role is exclusively for students/freshers (experienced candidates not considered at this time).
