Role : Azure Engineer - Windows Required Technical Skill Set : Windows Administration, Azure Administration ( compute, storage and Network ), AD Good to have Technical Skill Set : PowerShell, Log Analytics Desired Experience Range: 6+ years Location of Requirement : hyderabad Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) Must-Have** (Ideally should not be more than 3-5) Azure VM management, complete knowledge on OS patching, Log Analytics for Performance Monitoring, Azure Network- Good to have knowledge on virtual networks, VPN, NSGS and ASG’s. Azure storage and backups methodologies, Good-to-Have Update Management for OS patching, security center recommendations, powershell or Azure CLI SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role 1 Ability to handle the L2 and L3 issues on Azure Windows VMs 2 Assessing the stability, security, and scalability of installed Azure Windows VMs. 3 Installing or upgrading Azure Windows VMs. 4 Providing technical support for Azure cloud end users. 5 Should adhere to the SLA and Work on Incident and Change Management 6 Should have good experience in PowerShell 7 Should have knowledge about Azure Compute, Storage and Networking 8 Supporting existing and new application infrastructure in Public cloud 9 Maintaining server architecture security and creating system backups. 10 New VM creation, application setup and security compliance ( Hardening or VA ) 11 Application & DB backup, replication & restoration drills 12 Cloud asset, resource management 13 Cloud DR setup & drills 14 Third-party softwares and tools management.
