Job Title: Business Analyst – Property & Casualty (Commercial Lines)Location: HyderabadContractExperience Level: 10+ yearsJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance, specifically in Commercial Lines. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing business needs, gathering requirements, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative insurance solutions that support underwriting, policy administration, claims, and billing systems.Key Responsibilities:Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for P&C commercial lines insurance systems.Collaborate with underwriters, product managers, IT teams, and stakeholders to define system and process enhancements.Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories.Work closely with developers and QA teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.Support testing efforts, including UAT, by validating requirements and business scenarios.Identify gaps and opportunities for improving existing business processes.Assist in project planning, timelines, and delivery tracking.Provide subject matter expertise on Commercial Lines products (e.g., General Liability, Commercial Auto, Workers’ Compensation, etc.).Stay current with industry regulations, trends, and technologies in the insurance domain.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Property and Casualty insurance domain.Strong knowledge of Commercial Lines insurance products and lifecycle.Experience with policy administration systems (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, etc.).Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, JIRA, Confluence, etc.).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
