Job Description: Finance ControllerPosition: Finance ControllerLocation: NoidaDepartment: FinanceReports to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)Job Overview:The Finance Controller will oversee all financial and accounting operations within the company. This key leadership role ensures that the organization's financial records are accurate, compliant with regulations, and aligned with the strategic goals of the company. The Finance Controller will be responsible for managing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and accounting processes.Key Responsibilities:• Financial Planning & Reporting:o Oversee and manage the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual reports) in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.o Prepare consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.o Monitor financial performance and provide analysis to senior management regarding variances and trends.o Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with company objectives.• Accounting Management:o Supervise accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and tax compliance.o Ensure accurate accounting records and adherence to accounting standards.o Maintain the integrity of financial systems and internal controls, identifying and addressing areas for improvement.• Compliance & Risk Management:o Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.o Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures to mitigate risks and safeguard company assets.o Coordinate audits and manage external audit relationships.• Leadership & Team Management:o Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure effective execution of financial operations.• Strategic Analysis:o Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on financial analysis and insights.o Collaborate with other departments to support business decisions and ensure financial objectives are met.Qualifications & Skills:• Education:o Must be CA qualified or CA intern.o CMS & CS or equivalent professional certification (Required).• Experience:o Minimum of 5- 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.o Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.o Experience in managing financial audits and compliance requirements.• Skills:o Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).o Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.o In-depth understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements.o Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.• Personal Attributes:o Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.o Strong organizational and time-management skills.o Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.o A proactive and strategic thinker, capable of navigating complex financial challenges.Working Conditions:• Full-time position.
