About the RoleWe’re hiring a Foundry Chemist to join our in-house metallurgical lab at our Faridabad casting facility. If you have a sharp eye for detail, a solid understanding of metallurgy and chemical testing in foundry environments, and a passion for quality control, this role is for you.Key ResponsibilitiesChemical & Metallurgical TestingConduct chemical composition analysis of metals (ferrous and non-ferrous) using spectrometers and wet lab methodsPerform testing of sand, resins, fluxes, and other foundry raw materials as per standardsMaintain lab instruments and calibration protocols to ensure accurate resultsProcess MonitoringMonitor and control metallurgical parameters during melting, pouring, and cooling processesProvide timely feedback to production teams on deviations or non-conformanceAssist in developing new alloy compositions and quality improvement initiativesDocumentation & ReportingMaintain accurate lab reports and quality control documentation as per ISO and customer standardsPrepare analysis reports for internal use and customer auditsSupport compliance for audits (ISO, PED, IBR, etc.)Safety & Best PracticesFollow lab safety guidelines and environmental protocolsDrive continuous improvement in lab procedures and materials usageWhat You Bring2 years of relevant experience as a Chemist in a foundry, steel plant, or metallurgical labStrong knowledge of chemical analysis techniques (wet analysis, spectrometry, etc.)Familiarity with casting processes, raw materials, and quality systems in a manufacturing setupBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or MetallurgyDetail-oriented with strong analytical, documentation, and team collaboration skills
