The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA, Section 508, etc.), with a focus on crafting clear, sustainable, and inclusive policies that promote accessible practices across digital properties.Key Responsibilities:Develop, review, and update accessibility policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with global accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG 2.1/2.2, ADA, EN 301 549).Audit current digital accessibility policies and identify gaps or compliance risks.Collaborate with legal, compliance, product, and development teams to embed accessibility policies into the organization’s governance structure.Advise stakeholders on policy compliance obligations, risk management, and inclusive digital strategies.Assist in creating documentation and internal training materials on accessibility responsibilities and best practices.Monitor updates to accessibility laws and standards and ensure internal policies reflect current requirements.Support procurement and vendor accessibility reviews to align with organizational policies.Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) during internal or external audits and reviews.Qualifications:Proven experience (3–5+ years) in digital accessibility, with a strong emphasis on policy development and compliance.Deep understanding of WCAG, ADA, Section 508, and other international accessibility regulations.Experience working in legal, compliance, or policy development roles preferred.Ability to translate technical standards into clear, actionable policy language for cross-functional teams.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.IAAP certification (e.g., CPACC, WAS) is a plus.Preferred Skills:Knowledge of inclusive design principles.Experience working with large enterprises or government agencies.Familiarity with accessibility testing tools and assistive technologies
