As we expand globally, we’re assembling a strong remote engineering team in India to support infrastructure automation and ensure world-class system performance.Role OverviewThe Azure DevOps Engineer will architect, implement, and manage our CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation across Microsoft Azure. You’ll work closely with development and IT teams to ensure efficient deployment cycles, cloud resource governance, and security compliance across platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesCI/CD & AutomationDesign and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform.Automate deployments across Azure environments, including App Services, Azure Functions, and Kubernetes (AKS).Cloud Infrastructure ManagementConfigure and manage Azure resources for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.Set up and monitor release pipelines for code quality, integration testing, and delivery.Security & ComplianceIntegrate security best practices into DevOps workflows (DevSecOps).Enforce role-based access controls, secrets management, and secure coding standards.Monitoring & OptimizationImplement observability tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics).Analyze build and deployment metrics to optimize performance and reduce failures.Collaboration & DocumentationWork closely with engineering teams to ensure smooth deployments and updates.Document pipeline configurations, workflows, and troubleshooting protocols.Qualifications and Experience4+ years of hands-on experience in Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms.Strong expertise with Azure Services (App Services, Key Vault, AKS, ACR, Azure Functions).Proficiency with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and version control (Git).Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).Solid understanding of networking, security policies, and cloud governance in Azure.Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and collaboration skills.Based in India and able to work remotely during Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours.Compensation and Work HoursSalary: $2,000 USD per month (commensurate with experience).Schedule: Full-time, aligned with Pacific Standard Time (PST).Location: Remote (India)Why Join Sapience?Build for Impact: Drive DevOps innovation that enables secure, scalable learning platforms.Autonomous Environment: Own DevOps strategy and execution across global deployments.Collaborative Culture: Work with global teams committed to technical and educational excellence.Continuous Growth: Be part of a growing company that values innovation and infrastructure mastery.If you're a DevOps expert passionate about performance, security, and scalability in the Azure cloud—apply now and be a cornerstone of Sapience’s global engineering team.
