About the Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented and forward-thinking US CPA with deep knowledge of blockchain technology and hands-on experience in the cryptocurrency or fintech industry. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, optimizing tax strategies, and providing expert financial guidance for digital asset transactions, DeFi, NFTs, staking, and cross-border crypto activities.Key Responsibilities:Lead tax preparation and advisory services involving cryptocurrency transactions, wallets, and digital assets.Interpret and apply U.S. GAAP, IRS guidelines, and other regulatory standards specific to blockchain and crypto-related activities.Prepare and audit financial statements that include crypto holdings, smart contract-based revenue, staking/yield farming, etc.Collaborate with engineering/product teams to ensure accurate financial reporting on blockchain-based systems.Advise on best practices for bookkeeping and audit trails in DeFi and multi-chain environments.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of crypto regulations, including SEC, IRS, and international crypto tax developments.Support clients or product teams in wallet reconciliation, cost basis calculation, and cross-chain portfolio tracking.Guide fintech product development teams on tax-compliant features and in-app financial accuracy.Qualifications:Active CPA license (U.S. jurisdiction)3+ years of experience in accounting or audit, with 2+ years in blockchain/crypto/fintech spaceDeep understanding of crypto accounting issues: capital gains/losses, forks, airdrops, staking income, etc.Familiarity with platforms like QuickBooks, Xero, CoinTracking, Koinly, or crypto tax softwareStrong knowledge of IRS rules related to digital assets and crypto reporting (Forms 8949, 1040, etc.)Experience with SEC/FINCEN/OFAC compliance preferredNice to Have:Who has cleared the US CPA ExamMust have worked on US taxationMust have experience in cryptocurrency and possess a solid understanding of blockchain technology.Experience working with NFT marketplaces, token-based projects, or DAOsFamiliarity with smart contracts, DeFi protocols, or Web3 accounting toolsUnderstanding of international crypto tax structures (e.g., EU, UAE, Singapore)What We Offer:Opportunity to shape compliance strategy for cutting-edge Web3/fintech solutionsCollaborative and innovative environmentCompetitive compensationFlexible work setupTo Apply:Send your resume and cover letter to [shsingh@] with the subject line: US CPA – Blockchain & Crypto
