Tips: Provide a summary of the role, what success in the position looks like, and how this role fits into the organization overall.ResponsibilitiesRole Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Manager to lead and manage the setup and operations of our newly established Chennai Branch Office. This role combines core HR responsibilities with branch management functions, ensuring smooth coordination between Chennai operations and the UAE Head Office. Additionally, the Senior HR Manager will also oversee and support HR activities for our UAE operations, acting as the senior-most HR resource for the group.Key Responsibilities:1. Recruitment and Staffing:· Drive the end-to-end recruitment process for the Chennai office across multiple functions: Engineering, Process & Proposals, Accounts, IT, and HR.· Partner with UAE department heads to understand manpower needs and ensure timely hiring.· Onboard and induct new employees effectively, aligning them with company culture and expectations.2. Office Setup and Administration:· Coordinate with vendors for office infrastructure, IT setup, and administrative support.· Manage office operations including lease management, vendor contracts, and day-to-day administration.· Ensure compliance with all local statutory and legal requirements related to office operation and employment.3. Employee Relations and Engagement:· Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and employee handbooks in alignment with company standards.· Serve as the point of contact for employee grievances, conflict resolution, and employee welfare initiatives.· Organize engagement activities and foster a positive work environment.4. Performance Management and Development:· Implement performance evaluation frameworks and assist UAE managers in performance reviews.· Identify training and development needs for employees and facilitate learning opportunities.5. HR Branch for UAE Operations:· Manage HR administration for UAE operations including workforce planning, employee engagement, and talent management.· Partner with UAE leadership to implement HR policies, performance management systems, and organizational development initiatives.· Ensure alignment of HR practices across both Chennai and UAE offices.6. Coordination and Reporting:· Act as the primary liaison between Chennai office and UAE head office.· Prepare regular reports on recruitment status, employee performance, office administration, and HR metrics.· Support strategic initiatives for the Branch office’s continuous growth and improvement.QualificationsRequired Qualifications and Experience:· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.· Minimum 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.· Experience in setting up new offices or branches is highly preferred.· Strong understanding of Indian and UAE labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance regulations.· Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.· Ability to work independently and coordinate with multi-location teams.Key Competencies:· Strategic HR planning· Talent acquisition and management· Office administration and facility management· Employee engagement and organizational development· Strong organizational and project management skills· High level of integrity and professionalism
