Job Description

Quest Alliance is seeking an individual who will play the role of fellows for the project. She/He would work closely with teachers and headmasters in planning, execution and implementation of the whole school transformation Project and school Program in the assigned Block.schools as well as capture data, stories and reflection to strengthen the project implementation under the supervision of the Program Officer/Associate. He would be required to visit schools and meet relevant stakeholders on an ongoing basis.Scope of Work Anchoring the process of Model and Non Model School.Support teachers and HMs to implement the STEM Program, and parents Engagement at School and Community Level.Capturing good Practices from the community and School.Providing Support to HMs and teachers of model schools at block level to understand the nuances of STEM, Change leader and Master coach program, key Project activities and objectives with School Facilitator/Program Associate/ Program officer.To build the laisoning/relations with the BEO in block level.Ensure block level engagement and school level implementationEnsure all program related activities are being implemented at Block and School levels, including Virtual and Physical Training Sessions, Follow up plan, Model/innovation Schools, Students club ( Bal Sanad, STEM clubs) Morning Assembly, Enrichment, Parents engagements, Career Sessions (RMI), etc.Develop model/innovation schools in blocks. And help the school based stakeholders to develop a plan for their schools with regards to improvement of attendance, learning and participation of students.Work closely with the Student Clubs (Baal sansad and STEM club) in the schools for being able to demonstrate student led change activities.To Contribute in the review process, annual work plan and program design.Ensure implementation of School level activities in all the schools of the block through a blended approach (Change leader and Master Coach) Change projects /Hackathon.Influence the teachers/HM and ensure they will apply for the maximum nomination for Shiksha Ratn Puraskar.Participate and co-facilitate regular team meetings with teachers, Headmasters and community members to understand the programme realities and provide required supportTo ensure ARC, TAN 90 activities are going on, Mothers and Youth group organizing, PRI meetings happening on a monthly basis.Make joint visits with teachers in the community and develop better relationships with parents.Program ImplementationEnsuring School Level SupportPlanning meetings and review meetings at school and block level with Head Masters.To give support to teachers/HMs to prepare the agenda for the SMC meetings. Ensure that the SMC meetings have agenda points related to School and community to build healthy relationships.To give support to the teachers to make plans for f PTM meetings and ensure that the PTM meetings have agenda points related to the School.Contribute in Media engagement at block level and contribute to the Social media presence of the School program.Relationship ManagementLeading and Facilitating the process to build relationships between school and community.Facilitating the Process of Parents and Community level Engagement in respective schools.To participate and facilitate the program related activities and HMs Gosthi at block.To share monthly program related updates with the block officers.Training and Capacity BuildingProviding Support to teachers and HMs to understand the nuances of School programme, key Project activities and objectives.Working with the Program officer provides support in making reports and plans as per requirement of the Program.Participate and co- facilitate refresher training conducted for teachers and Headmasters.ReportingAdhere to data management plan and systems for School program and contribute effectivelyEnsure documenting and reporting of activities, case studies and best practices as per the planProvide regular written and verbal reports tracking progress against the work plan and implementation schedulesUse the appropriate M&E tools for reporting on a regular basisSupport with the documentation of training/ meeting/ event reportsSupport coordination of baseline/ endline and other assessmentsCollect data as needed to help with the compilation of the donor reportEnsure data is updated in the databaseSupport all reporting requirements such as quarter reviews, annual reviewsParticipate in team meetings, reviews and staff engagement activitiesBe available for regular line management meeting and the appraisal processesEnsure block level reports are prepared and shared.To Apply:Interested candidates are requested to apply for the role by dropping email to hiring@Women candidates are encouraged to apply!Due to the enormity of applications received, Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted!
