Job Title : AVP – Institutional Sales & Business Development (Healthcare & Insurance)Company Overview :WONDRx is a National Startup Award-winning healthcare technology platform redefining interactions across the healthcare ecosystem (Doctors, Patients, Providers). With a presence in 358+ cities, we are expanding aggressively to 95 new cities and seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead institutional business growth.Role Overview :We are looking for an experienced and results-driven AVP to lead institutional sales and business development for Pharma, Insurance, and Healthcare companies . This is a PAN India role requiring strategic leadership to build teams, drive revenue, and establish WONDRx as a key player in the healthcare ecosystem.Reporting to the CEO or Director – Business Growth, this role is critical to scaling our institutional business and achieving aggressive revenue targets.Key Responsibilities :Revenue Growth & P&L Ownership :Own the entire P&L for the institutional business, including forecasting, budgeting, and profitability.Develop and execute Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies tailored to Pharma, Insurance & Healthcare Companies.Client Acquisition & Relationship Management :Lead end-to-end sales cycles, from pitching to C-suite executives to closing multi-year partnerships.Deliver consultative solutions to Pharma and Insurance clients, leveraging healthcare data aggregation, digital outreach, and patient engagement programs.Ensure smooth onboarding, retention, and cross-selling opportunities with large institutional clients.Team Building & Leadership :Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Business Development (BD) team across 95+ cities.Set KPIs, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement in team execution.Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and agility to adapt to evolving market trends.Strategic Alliances & Partnerships :Identify and onboard key partners (e.g., TPAs, Diagnostics Labs, MedTech firms) to strengthen the ecosystem.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Tech, Marketing) to refine offerings based on client feedback.Market Intelligence & Innovation :Stay ahead of regulatory changes, technological advancements, and competitor activity in healthcare.Drive creative problem-solving to address challenges in client acquisition, retention, and service delivery.Preferred Experience & Qualifications :10+ years of experience in institutional sales or business development, with 3+ years leading teams in Pharma, Insurance, or Healthcare sectors.Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets YoY and scaling B2B businesses.Demonstrated success in handling P&L ownership and deploying field-force teams in PAN India markets.Strong network of contacts in Pharma, Insurance, and Healthcare industries.Graduate/Postgraduate from a reputed institute.What We’re Looking For :A strategic thinker with a growth-hacking mindset and execution excellence.Exceptional team leadership and communication skills.Deep understanding of healthcare ecosystems , including pharma supply chains, insurance models, and digital health trends.Willingness to travel extensively and operate in dynamic, fast-paced environments.Location & Reporting :Work Location : Mumbai.Reporting To : CEO or Director – Business Growth.How to Apply :Send your CV to hr@ with the subject line:“AVP – Institutional Sales & Business Development”Why Join WONDRx?Be part of a fast-growing startup revolutionizing healthcare.Opportunity to shape the future of institutional partnerships in a $200B+ industry.Competitive compensation package with equity incentives.
